CustomR Studio — Design Preview

Zero Escrow · Direct L$ Settlement

CustomR never holds funds, operates no wallet or escrow, and takes no custody of L$. All payments occur directly from buyer to seller in Second Life.

Standard Order Payment Stages by Total Value Agreed prior to work start

Order Value (L$)	Payment Structure	Stage Breakdown
Free (0 L$)	No payment stage	Scope & delivery confirmation only
Under 10,000 L$	Single Payment or Optional 50 / 50	100% upfront/delivery OR 50% start + 50% completion
10,000 – 20,000 L$	50 / 50 Split	50% initial stage · 50% upon delivery review
20,001 – 50,000 L$	40 / 60 Split	40% initial stage · 60% upon delivery review
50,001 L$ and above	30 / 40 / 30 Split	30% start · 40% mid-project checkpoint · 30% final

01. Mutual Scope Agreement

Both buyer and seller explicitly accept the scope, price, timeline, revision count, and usage/permissions terms before any L$ is sent.

02. Buyer Notice & Seller Confirmation

The buyer reports sending L$ in-world, and the seller separately confirms receipt. Note: A transaction ID or screenshot is a user submission, not platform-verified proof of funds.

03. Direct Delivery & Private Proof

The seller delivers the product or service directly and attaches private delivery evidence to the order record.

04. Explicit Buyer Receipt Approval

The seller marking "Delivered" does not complete the order. The buyer must explicitly confirm receipt or report an issue. Buyer silence is never treated as automatic completion.

Platform Handbook

Discover, agree, create — your guide to getting things done on CustomR.

1. Six Platform Pillars

CustomR serves the entire Second Life economy: Products (prefabs, decor, assets), Services (3D mesh, rigging, LSL, PBR, photography), Virtual Property (parcel rentals/access), Businesses (venues, clubs, studios), Jobs (hosts, DJs, managers), and Wanted (custom buyer requests).

2. Invite-Only Beta & Avatar Verification

Accounts are created with an invitation code and a dedicated CustomR web password. We never ask for your Second Life password or SL account email. Avatar ownership is linked via explicit consent and a one-time in-world token. Your raw UUID is kept private and never displayed on public profiles.

3. Independent 1–5 Star Ratings

Only eligible completed orders can be reviewed. Both parties can independently rate their experience from 1 to 5 stars based on communication, adherence to scope, and delivery.

From agreement to delivery

CustomR never holds funds or operates a wallet or escrow. Buyers pay sellers directly in Second Life. Agree on the scope and payment milestones before work begins.

Fair Review & Platform Scope

1. Evidence Submission & Moderator Review

If an issue arises during an order, either party may open a dispute and submit private order evidence (agreed scope logs, payment reports, delivery proofs). An assigned CustomR moderator reviews both sides and issues a reasoned decision.

2. Right to Appeal

Both buyer and seller have the right to appeal a moderation decision by providing additional context or clarification within the platform.

3. Scope of Enforcement & No Refund Guarantee

Moderation actions (warnings, listing removal, or account suspension) apply strictly within CustomR. CustomR does not generate "official Linden Lab Abuse Reports", does not guarantee external escalation outcomes, and cannot force refunds or compensate for financial losses.

Clear Answers

Does CustomR hold money, offer escrow, or verify L$ transfers?

No. CustomR never holds funds or operates an escrow wallet. Buyers pay sellers directly in Second Life. Payment notifications and screenshots are recorded as user statements, not platform-verified bank settlements.

Will CustomR ever ask for my Second Life password or SL email?

Never. You register with an invite code and create a separate CustomR web account. Avatar verification happens via a one-time in-world step with your explicit consent, and your UUID is never shown publicly.

What happens if the buyer stays silent after delivery?

Seller delivery submission alone does not complete an order, and buyer silence is not treated as automatic approval. The buyer must confirm receipt or open an issue.

How do reviews work?

In the live platform, both parties on a completed order can leave an independent 1 to 5 star rating and written review. All ratings shown in this preview are illustrative demo examples.
